Ludia Consulting Labs

Microsoft Business Applications · The next chapter

The next generation of business applications.

Built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, with AI as the foundation. We run on the same platform we ship to our customers. The interface dissolves, the composition opens, the velocity compresses, the vertical deepens.

1 What Ludia Labs is

A skunkworks for business software.

Ludia Labs is the engine inside Ludia Consulting. It's where our best architects build products, test ideas and explore new technology, the way the great industrial labs did: a small senior team, set apart from the day-to-day, out to beat the norm with ideas that change how the world's businesses run.

How the Lab works

  1. Senior people, small team.

The architects who design Ludia's client work, working on what comes next.

  2. Start from a real problem.

Most projects begin with something a customer has asked us to build more than once.

  3. Run it on Ludia first.

Nothing reaches a client until it has run inside our own business.

  4. Microsoft underneath.

Built natively on Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft platform: no parallel stack, no shadow data.

  5. Work in public.

We publish notes while the work is still warm, including what didn't work.

  6. Ship it or stop it.

Ideas that hold up become products. The rest become lessons we write down.

2 Ludia's Thesis

The data layer holds. Everything around it is being rewritten.

Written by all of us at Ludia. We came to it together, and we're leading the charge.

This isn't a new product category. It's what happens when ERP, CRM, and the Power Platform get rebuilt with AI as the foundation rather than something bolted on after the fact. The data layer holds. The rest gets rewritten.

The interface dissolves into conversational surfaces. The composition opens up: modular AI-native modules instead of monolithic suites. Velocity compresses by a measurable 30–40% in time and effort. And the vertical fit deepens past horizontal AI into industry-specific truth.

At Ludia Labs we build the AI surface, the vertical extensions, and the methodology that make Microsoft Business Applications feel like the next generation. Microsoft underneath. Agentic operating system on top.

2 · Methodology

AI Implementation Methodology.

How the AI-as-engine thesis runs in production. We re-engineer every workstream of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 engagement with AI as the lever. A measurable 30–40% reduction in time and effort across the implementation.

3 · AI operating system

Helios.

Ludia's own AI operating system, now available to the world. Every workstream of the firm is mapped and runs on an AI layer our team uses every day. The same architecture and AI core, configured for your industry, your data, your operating patterns.

4 Helios

The way we run Ludia, productized for the way you run your business.

Helios started as Ludia's own AI operating system. We mapped our entire business and built it ready for agility. Now it's available to the world.

5 AI Lab

What we're thinking about right now.

The Lab is where we work in public. In-progress products, research notes, methodology iterations. By design, the most current page on the site.

Agent liability.

When an AI agent posts a journal entry, who signs it? Working through the audit-trail design for Helios. Every agent action inside our internal operating system needs a traceable provenance that survives a financial audit when we ship it to customers.

Dispatch memory.

Senior dispatchers remember the truck that always breaks down on cold mornings. New dispatchers don't. Building the working-memory layer for Helios that gives a new dispatcher senior-dispatcher context on every call.

6 The Microsoft line

Ludia is a Microsoft Solutions Partner for AI Business Solutions and a Microsoft FastTrack Portfolio Partner. We hold a formal Innovation Committee seat with Microsoft Engineering, and we keep several FastTrack Recognized Solution Architects on staff. We work with the product teams, not around them.

How we work with Microsoft

7 One Ludia

Why we built Labs.

Every Microsoft Dynamics partner has a services business. Most don't have a product point of view. They have a partner page, a logo bar, and a slide deck. The senior people who could tell you what the next decade of Microsoft Business Applications looks like are too busy running engagements to write it down.

Ludia Labs is what happens when we make space for the writing down. The thesis behind the methodology, the productization of the things our customers ask us to build twice, the research on agents and ERP and verticals: all of it lives here, alongside the products that proceed from the thesis.

The services business and the labs business aren't different companies. They're the same senior people, working the same problems, in two different registers: one delivering, one thinking. Read this site and ludiaconsulting.com together to see the full shape.
